Account Delinquency

Bi-Monthly

Accounts are broken into four different cycles over a two month period.

A different cycle is billed on the first and fifteenth of each of the two months.

Delinquent Bills

A different cycle's delinquency process is ran around the fifth and twentieth of each of the two months.

A late fee is added to any account which is delinquent at this time.

Late Fees

Late Fee: $3.00.

72 Hour Notices

If a delinquent bill is not paid by the due date a notification will be mailed stating the service will be discontinued as of date specified on notice. Notices are sent to billing address and property address,
this is to notify tenants who do not receive their utility bill.

Turn Off

If a delinquent bill or notice of turn off is not paid a turn off occurs.

In the event a service man is sent out, there will be a $25.00 service charge, regardless if your water is turned off or not.

If your service has been turned off because of delinquency, making a payment electronically
will not automatically get service turned back on. So please make your payment in person or by pay by phone if your service has been disconnected because of delinquency.

Account Fee

Service Charge: $25.00.

Certification

Once a year by State Law 743.04, we have the option to certify to property taxes any delinquent
unpaid charges for water and sewer services. Once the process is complete, the charges are
transferred to the Stark County property taxes and reversed off of our system. At that time the amount must be paid with your property taxes, not in our office.
